Governance and Risk's primary purpose is to provide strategic direction, leadership and management to:

  1. enable effective and efficient governance, risk management, compliance and assurance across the University; and
  2. add day-to-day operational value via efficient delivery of important services to our customers.

We are responsible for the development and management of the University’s strategies, policies and frameworks for the functions and services within our portfolio, enabling and ensuring their adoption, and providing assurance on their effectiveness and efficiency. We are part of the Chief Operating Officer's portfolio.
